  • what is Active Directory PowerShell module? why do i need it? and if i install AD using powershell do i have to install it manually? thank u

  • The module contains all cmdlets, with which you can administer AD. Without importing them, your commands will not be recognized. When you install the domain controller windows server role you are using the servermanager module. You can see a list of all servermanager commands, by running:

    get-command -module servermanager

    You can also filter by -verb or -noun, etc.
