Re-login request.

    Question

  • Dear All,

    Other computer is OK, only this computer get problem.

    I have a windows 7 pro match network drive on windows 2008r2 AD as Z: drive.

    Sometimes, user click z: drive and it will pop the windwos to request login...

    User will restart computer again(once to twice)  and then the network drive can benn access again.

    Please advise us what is the problem.


    in group policy:Computer Settings>Policies >Administrative Templates>System>Logon

    Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon - Enabled



    Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > Group Policy>Start up policy processing wait time:60

  • Hi,
    What method are you using to map drive:GPO or script,etc?
    If you are using GPO to map drive, when the problem occurs, please check if the GPO is applied or not by running gpresult /h command to view the result report.
    And please check “Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon” policy if it is applied in the group policy report.
    In addition, you could go to event viewer to see if there are any related events for troubleshooting.
