Client shows number with number 1 in the end. RRS feed

  • Question

  • For some reason, client shows the number with extra 1 in the end. For example, in AD, user properties the number is 555-555-5555. In Skype for Business number is setup as tel:+15555555555.

When I open Skype for Business client and select user, it has two phone numbers:

    Work +155555555551
    Work 555-555-5555

    Can someone help with this?

    Thank you. Eric.

  • Hi KPABA,

Did this issue occur for all users?
Did you try to rebuild SFB profile?
Did you create a new test account to have a test?

To troubleshoot this issue, please post the normalization rules in your organization to us.

    Best Regards,

  • This is because of the address book normalization configuration. You can verify the existing configuration by running

    (Get-CsAddressBookNormalizationConfiguration).AddressBookNormalizationRules

Folow below articl if you want to modify anything.
