not a valid win32 program RRS feed

  • why do executables from windows 8 report "not a valid win32 program" when run from windows 7 ? When Both are 64 bit !

    Does this happen when you try to execute every program or just for some programs?
    Did the installations complete successfully in Windows 7? Does this error happen only in one Windows 7 computer or in any Windows 7 PC the applications are executed?
    Are you sure that those executables do not explicitly target only Windows 8?
