  • Hi,

Windows 10 comes pre-installed with IE11 and it can't be removed....

"I am having trouble with IE 11. Several websites I like will not work with it."

Please include the full address of any websites you are having problems with your questions.... that way we can visit those sites to investigate why they may not be working for you.

Most problems with IE are caused by third-party browser Addons.... like toolbars and browser helpers.

    You could try
    1. Installing the latest updates from MS.... Start>Settings charm>Security and Updates.
    2. Resetting IE... this will disable Toolbar and BHO addons in IE11 and reset its settings back to their factory defaults. How to reset IE

    Regards.

  • Hi skharwell,

We could not remove IE 11 in Windows 10. But we could use IE 10 mode in IE 11. We could try follow the steps in the link below.

    http://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-document-browser-mode-ie-11

Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.

Meanwhile we could add these websites to the compatibility view to check.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17472/windows-internet-explorer-11-fix-site-display-problems-compatibility-view

If the issue still insists, we could try reset the IE settings.

Hope it will be helpful to you

  • The main website that won't work with IE11 is www.shutterfly.com.

  • Hi skharwell,

I visited shutterfly.com and did some testing.... do you have ActiveX filtering turned on for that site?

    Please see this link. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/ie/2011/02/28/activex-filtering-for-consumers/
