Random Blue Screen Errors with K10n78m Pro Asrock Motherboard and Win 7 Home Premium x64 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been having random Blue Screen errors for months now on a system i built for an htpc.  I have spent months now, lots of time and money, and over 100 hours trying to figure this out.  I am the guy everyone comes to with computer problems so it is getting very frustrating.

I have updated all drivers to my knowledge to Win 7 x64 versions that I know of from the manufacturers websites.  I have swapped out all hardware including ram, and motherboard.  The only remaining hardware is CPU, PSU, DVD, and Hard Drive, yet all hardware has been tested with check it diagnostics.

I have several minidumpo files I can upload

Every blue screen error has had a different error code every time.

I have also done a hash check of the win 7 .iso legally downloaded from digitalriver.

  • A bugcheck (BSOD) is a mechanism to protect your PC from damage.

To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.

Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.
