MAP Toolkit - Cannot discover AD workstations RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have 2 domain infrastructures running in windows server 2000. Domain 1 has 200+ computer while Domain B has 100+ computers. I've prepared 1 laptop per domain for asset discovery. I used AD as means of discovery and used 3 domain admin accounts for the credentials.

After several scans, I generated reports and noticed that i can only discover server computers. All workstations have WMI Status of either "Failed-Machine Not Found" and "Failed - Access Denied"

Some of those machine were up and running but was still tagged as "machine not found".  Does it have something to do with the AD version? Is the latest MAP toolkit compatible to the 2000 AD Server version?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Brylle
