    recently I did a migration where I had 18 distribution points upgraded (which mostly went well ..)

    but if I look carefully on one of the upgraded DPs I find I have more diskspace in use then let's say on the new primary server.

    I think it's the SMSPKG folder on the upgraded DPs, can that be deleted after the migration is complete?

    since this hasn't been answered and I was in the mood to experiment..

    you can safely delete the SMSPKG folder on the upgraded DP

    I tested it one DP and gained some 7 GB extra free space thanks to that!

    feel free to say that my assumption was incorrect if you detect otherwise
