  • Project 2010 does not run natively on Mac.

  • Thank you Andrew, could I run it with a web based application or a windows simulation?

  • According to a technet article on system requirements, if you're running Project Server 2010 SP1, the web app will work with:

    • Apple Safari 5 on Mac OS X v10.6
    • Firefox 3.6.8+ on Mac OS X v10.6

I suppose you could also run a Windows virtual machine on Mac to get it to work, using VMWare or similar, but I'm not a virtualisation expert, and have never used it in this way.

  • RMendozaF,

There are several options for running Project and other Windows applications on a Mac. I personally use Parallels on my iMac and have multiple virtual machines for various versions of Project. There is also VMWare, bootcamp, and probably some others.
