Cannot see if backups are being done when starting them manually RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am logging in to SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, going to:

    1. General Application Settings
    2. PWA Settings > Manage
    3. Administrative Backup
    4. Select ALL Item's
    5. Click "Backup" button

A message pops up that the backup has been queued.

Now, when I want to see if the backup has completed successfully, I am checking two areas:

    1. Manage Queue Jobs in PWA Settings
    2. CA > Monitoring > Check job Status

Neither place I can see anything about a backup of the projects being completed. In fact, when I go back into the PWA Settings and choose "Administrative Restore" - I don't even see the date listed that I did the manual backup on. Such as today, for example, 10 minutes ago.

    What is wrong?

I am using Project Server 2013, by the way.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hi Michael,

In 2013 PWA manage queue page, add "Success" from Job completion states field and hit refresh status.
