Upgrade to Windows 10 2004: registry keys were deleted after upgrade RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Noticed that after upgrading to 2004 some applications stopped to work. After several hours of investigation realized that needed registry keys were removed right after upgrade. Can someone confirm if that's expected behavior or bug? Tried to find it in the known issues but it's not there.

  • I am not aware of such an issue.
But can you tell us what application and registry keys were affected?
You are still logging in as the same user?
Is the system joined to a domain?

    Veeam Agent for Windows.
Key was stored here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows

    - You are still logging in as the same user?
    Yes

    - Is the system joined to a domain?
Yes/no (does not matter, we see the same behavior)
