  • Question

  • I am running a script from local machine. The script creates a session with Server B. The Server B in turn starts a process a server A. I am going into a second hop and I have enabled CredSSP on local machine as well as on Server B. What could be the solution to this problem?

  • Hi Rushikesh,

    ensure ...

    • That you not only have CredSSP configured, but are also using it.
    • That the user used on the first hop has the necessary privileges to start processes on ServerA
    • That Server A is configured to accept incoming remote management

  • Thanks Fred.

I have CredSSP configured, but how do I use it?

  • Generally, the various remoting commands support a parameter called -Authentication. Specify CredSSP there.

Also note: When using the CredSSP authentication mechanism, you must explicitly specify credentials, so you also need to pass the -Credential parameter.
