Endpoint Protection error including functionality issues with Voice Over IP application RRS feed

    We are getting this error in our Endpoint protection logs. Is this preventing the software from functioning properly? 

    2016-06-08T05:44:46.004Z [Mini-filter] Restricted access to engine process from pid: 2220. Original desired access: 0x1fffff.

    We have folder exclusions to prevent scanning of our VoIP software, and SC EP seems to still be conflicting with it's functionality. We see the folder exceptions listed in the log file, but are unable to tell if the software is actually matching the exclusions. 


    Is there a way to turn on advanced debugging to see more info? We are unable to see the detection list from a normal user account, due to permissions. This issue only occurs to users who DO NOT have admin access to this software.

    Is it possible there is a bug in version ?
