  • Hello John,

Please downlad waik and install it.

In the Waik tools folder, you will find the ximage application. It's an other name for ImageX.

    Good luck

  • Since the download link was published here, it has been removed from the server as requested by Microsoft.

This company insists of making its customers life as hard and uncomfortable as possible.

If you don't wish to download 1.7Gb, I suggest you download this tool from the torrent networks, as you should download all Microsoft products.

  • KB2525084 Hotfix (ImageX 3.0)

There you go, ImageX stand-alone straight from Microsoft. You gotta fill out your email address but they send you the link immediately, definitely automated....

  • Just tested and the version posted by Kain Highwind works on Windows Server 2012 so I'm assuming it will have no issues on win7, 8 or 8.1.

  • For Windows 7, after installing WAIK, you can find imagex.exe in C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86 (or ia64 or amd64).

  • What the hell is this?  It isn't imagex.  Why would you waste our time linking to something that isn't what we are asking for?  All we want is one simple damn executable file.....why can no one provide that?  Why is that so hard?
