Package Upgrade. Delta or Full Download?

Question
-
I've been trying to work out how the upgrade of a package works in App-V (please excuse my ignorance).
When upgrading a package and pushing it out to clients, do the clients download the delta difference of the package or do they download the whole thing again. We have some large packages that we would need to upgrade over slow links, so this could become an issue if they don't do the deltas.

Hello,
The upgrade of a package (the package GUID is maintained) will result in a delta download if you are letting the App-V client handle the upgrade.

As Nicke said, it will do a differential if it is an upgrade of the same package, full details here: http://virtualvibes.co.uk/differential-upgrades-with-app-v-5-0/
