SCCM 2012 support for AMT pre 3.2.1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm migrating to SCCM 2012. As I understand the WS-Man translator support has been dropped in SCCM 2012. Does this mean that there is no support for AMT Chips older than 3.2.1 at all or is there some way to get it to work? The thing is that we have about 600 clients with and old AMT chip and the vendor doesn't release any updates for this type. The old fashioned magic packets don't travel across the network infrastructure and we need to have a way to wake up machines for patching etc.

  • I would post this in the general thread, as the real question is whether 2012 supports older AMT chips or not.  This is not a migration question.
