Reinstall connector software solves dead slow internet

    General discussion

  • Here's a weird one. A week or so ago, one of the Windows 10 PCs on the network went dead slow on Internet access. Everything timed out. No other PCs had a problem. Went through every setting...was just about to do a 'fresh start' on the PC when I thought I would see if the connector might be a problem (it was running slow, too).  Removed the connector, reinstalled/synced, and suddenly no problem at all.

Don't suppose anyone has any insight on what happened, but something to keep in mind if you have a similar problem...

    Thanks!

  • I spoke too soon, within a very short time, 'dead internet' was back and the problem had spread to all PCs on the network that were connected to the server.  Tablets and phones on the network showed no slow down.  Again, uninstalling the connector solved the problem of internet access while creating the problem of not having server backups...any insights appreciated...
