Show / Hide reports conditionally based on KPI clicked RRS feed

  • Question

  • I got a BSM2005-migrated dashboard which contains 1 scorecard (on the left hand side)

and ~40 repots with KPIs’ trend (on the right hand side).
I want to show related reports when clicking a particular KPI.

Can Dashboard designer allow me to specify a report shows conditionally, depends on KPI clicked?

    I.e.
report A will be shown when any of KPI 1,2,3 is clicked, else it will be hidden.

report B will be shown when any of KPI 4,5,6 is clicked, and will be hidden.

     ...

Any reference will be helpful. Million thanks.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Andy

Yep - this is possible and fairly easy

    1) Drag your scorecard onto a zone in your dashboard

    2) Drag the reports you want to display conditionally onto another zone in your dashboard.

    3) Set the orientation of the dashboard zone to stacked (right-click on the white area of the zone - zone settings)

    4) Drag the "display condition" item from your scorecard onto the report(s) you want to conditionally show

    5) Select the correct KPI from the pop-up

    6) Deploy

    7) Stand back and admire

     Hope this helps
