  • Hi all,

    something wrong with updates, some computers doesn't get updates. For example windows 7 workstation cannot get updates from Windows server 2016 wsus server "Windows is up to date", however when i check update history, last update is installed in 9/23/2017.

  • Hello Nodom,
     
    0x801901f4 means "Internal server error (500)", "The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request".
     
    Are there any error messages on the WSUS server? Check if WsusPool is started in the IIS console.
     
    And have you or someone made some changes on the WSUS server? 
     
    Check whether all clients can't get updates from WSUS.

  • Hello Ray,

    • 1. there are too many errors.

    572 computers have not reported status for more than 30 days.

    6391 security updates are waiting to be approved 1484 critical updates are waiting to be approved however "automatic approvals" is configured

    computers with errors 257

    computers needing updates 100

    • 2. WsusPool is started
    • 3. about changes on server unfortunally i cannot get information.
    • 4. no one can get updates.

  • Are you performing the proper WSUS maintenance including but not limited to running the Server Cleanup Wizard (SCW), declining superseded updates, running the SQL Indexing script, etc.?
