Project Server 2010 List Notification/Alerts Disappearing: Does a CU Resolve This? RRS feed

  • Question

  • In doing some research around this known issue, I came across this post from Brian Smith in August 2011.  Does anyone know if any of the CUs afterwards address/resolve this?  I've not found anything that says it's been resolved.

I ask because I'd rather this be fixed with a CU, than to write some custom event receiver on content types to push out emails to project teams.  However, if coding is the only way to accomplish this, it is what it is, right?

Thanks for your input! - M

  • Hi,

With the latest CU that I tested the behavior was not changed, however with Project Server 2013 you won't lose your alerts when permission are being changed.
