  • Question

  • Hell all,

I recently upgraded my SCCM environment from SCCM 2012 Sp1 to SCCM 2012 R2 Sp1.

Here is what my site server is showing for the versions

Not sure  what I missed during the install.

Ok here is what my console shows Console version 5.0.8239.1302

    Site Version 5.00.8239.1000

  • Nothing wrong there. The site version never reflects the CU version in 2012.

  • 1511 is no longer supported at all. You need to move to 1606. Server 2008 R2 is supported for now, but that is going away soon. You should come up with a plan to upgrade the OS soon after at least. This can be an in-place upgrade (which is supported) or a backup and recovery of the site to a new system.

  • Ok thanks Jason.

I have another question for the community. If I am running SCCM 2012 R2 Sp1 on a WS2008 R2 Standard can I go to SCCM 1511 or do I need to upgrade my server first ?
