Deploy Driver / Firmware Updates for Surface Devices via WSUS 4.0 RRS feed

    Have WSUS 4 (6.3.9600.18228) installed to 2012 R2.  Attempting to deploy out Driver / Firmware updates to Microsoft Surface Devices (Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, Surface Book).  Instead of going the crazy route of enabling Drivers on WSUS, I imported the drivers from Microsoft Update Catalog (via IE, direct import via MSFT plugins).

    All of the drivers for the SP4s and SB are showing as Not Applicable, none detecting as Failed, Installed, or Needed.  I do have 2 drivers showing up as needed for a SP3 on Win 8. What am I missing?

    1. Are the clients report to the WSUS server correctly?

    2. Have you checked if these updates are indeed "Not Applicable" for the clients, you may test it via installing the update on the client manually, check the result.
