Can't delete user from configuration item users list RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello there,

I deleted CI belonging to a user. Then I navigated to the deleted objects folder and deleted there as well. If I went back to the users list I can find that user again and I can click on delete again. But this user doesn't moved to the deleted objects folder again. This certain user is also deleted in the AD.

  • Hi,

I would check the History to see what happened: https://gotoguy.blog/2016/01/27/getting-scsm-object-history-using-powershell-and-sdk/

    Regards,

    Stefan

  • You may need to remove the actual object using PowerShell, I find removing from the console doesn't remove the account directly from the database

Do you see the account still there when you check the LFX.ADUser table in the ServiceManager database?
The link that Stefan provided should do the trick to fully remove the SCSM Object out
