With buying used you never know? "Right" bought a laptop trying to restore it but the D2D option must be locked. It's enabled in the BIOS, but the alt+f10 does not do function. So I removed the hdd from the laptop and using an external USB adapter I'm
able to slave it and appear as another drive. and presto I found the recovery folder. My question is this, "can you burn the contents of that folder to a cd and use that to restore? is this a work around for the alt+f10 option?"
