SharePoint 2007 How can one show on a website that a text has been updated RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a website that I edit with SharePoint 2007, with a tab for "News",

I want the visitor to see the tab "News" has been updated nylgen.

Ideally, you do not see more than the first time the visitor opens the page.

  • "has been updated nylgen"

    Say again.  Message garbled.

Doing anything based on the user's activities would get into storing cookies territory.  Else, you could write it to a list.  Either way, you're talking about custom code.

Let's see what shakes out with the nylgen first, then move forward from there.
