Edit: Sorry, it appears not in my WSUS server (it´s not there), but in Microsoft Intune.

  • A google search of "test update for supersedence" only returns this tread.  It seems we are the last people using WSUS that actually look at the patches before approving.  Has anyone figured this mystery out yet?

  • It seems it only happens when you are a Windows 10 Insider and have a Windows 10 preview running in a Domain with WSUS. I cant find this somewhere else.

What about you? Is it the same at yours?

  • For "Windows Tech Preview"

  • I also received TWO of these updates on 8-19, categorized under Window Technical Review.

The only reason I enabled this category was because it was recommended by MS for Windows 10 updates. When I first say this update, it looked very suspicious, setting of internal alarms in the System Admin in me!? ESPECIALLY with that jakey description of "jhkjh"... looked like malware content to me!

Not very good "packaging" strategy for an update by Microsoft... too vague and suspicious looking from an administrative perspective for me!

I will PROBABLY DECLINE this update(s)... got a bad feeling about this in my "gut".
