Error when creating an external list in SP2010

Question
-
Hello,
I've set up extrenal content in my SQL DB as well as SP2010.
Now, the problem is the error message everytime I try to create an external list in SP2010:
"Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web
page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as
Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server
administrator. Correlation ID: ...........".When I looked up a correlation ID of the error, it said "Access Denied".
I've followed tutorials on how to set up an Secure Storage Service for windows crendetials group access.
Evertyhing worked fine. The problem showed up when I tried to create an external list.
Has anyone experienced the same issue before?
Thank you.

I've done it. In any case, the correlation ID referenced to the issuse of access as the error was "Access Denied".

- Are you using impersonation to do authentication to the backend database?
- Does sql show the expected account trying to login?

A1: Yes, I am using windows impersonation type
A2: SQL doesn't even show anything. It looks like that there is something wrong on SP side.
