NAP in DHCP Scope RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are having two domain controllers installed in 2012 R2 OS. DHCP role is installed in primary and NPS role is installed in Secondary domain controller. DHCP is having a default VLAN scope,  any machine which connect to our network will get an IP from this scope. By default all ports are assigned in this VLAN only.

I would like to enable NAP for the default scope, where DHCP will lease IP from this scope to our domain joined computers only. Machines which are not in our domain shouldn't get IP from DHCP. Could anyone please help.

Also, This required NAP role has to be installed in DHCP server itself?

    Thanks.
