FIM notification stopped working RRS feed

  • Hi my FIM notifications have stopped working a couple of days ago.  I checked the configuration file and notified my email admin and inquired about the mail server value and the email admin states it's still working.

        <add key="mailServer" value="https://XXXXXX/ews/exchange.asmx" />

        <add key="isExchange" value="1" />

    He mentioned to look for an IP address in my setup, stating that a server was decommissioned a couple of days ago. Is there another place to look for that?

  • Hi,

    for the MIM Portal that is the correct place for the config of the mailserver, if that is correct it may be not reachable from your MIM server, check eventlog (App and Service Log) "Microsoft Identity Manager Service" for Exchange issues.

    You can also let check if there is something wrong with the MIMService account which should have a mailbox, maybe it cannot send for some reason.

    Also try to connect to the URL from the config via a browser if the SSL certificate is still valid.
