Lessons Learned building Ideation with PS2010 RRS feed

  • Does anyone have any tips or lessons learned after implementing Ideation with Project Server 2010? The only relevant posts I found are:

    In 2013, ideation is supported OOB and I know in 2010 you have to develop a custom solution.

  • Thanks for the info. In 2010 it's completely different which is why I was looking for any ideas of the implementation.

    Kind of a big question for a forum post. In 2010 you are limited to using proposed project feature and you are limited to building workflows in Visual Studio. In order to capture ideas, you must give your users access to PWA. In my book, Implementing and Administering Microsoft Project Server 2010, I show you how to co-opt the sample workflow and how to work with the various elements you need to create your ideation process.
