  • Hi,

This needs to be figured out.

Do you find any error stack trace?

    If yes post them.

  • Rahul,

Can you help with the best error tracking methods?

  • Hi,

Go to the web.config file in your virtual directory of the site where you are facing this error.

Here change the value CallStack= true and CustomError = false .

This will then show the entire stack trace on your page. In other way enable verbose mode of logging by going to central admin--> Operations--> Diagonostic logging.

I hope this will help you out.

  • Rahul,

That gave us a little more:

Failed to instantiate file "style.css" from module "Css": The specified list does not exist.   at Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequestInternalClass.EnableModuleFromXml(String bstrFeatureDirectory, String bstrUrl, String bstrXML)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.EnableModuleFromXml(String bstrFeatureDirectory, String bstrUrl, String bstrXML)

    Make any sense?

  • Hi,

go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\THEMES in your WFEs and check if the file style.css or its dependencies exists or not.

I hope this will help you out.

  • HI,

You can create a theme named as Style at the same location manually.

    Refer this

I hope this will help you out.
