Skype for business & Outlook are not working in Direct Access in Windows 10 enterprise pcs. RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    In windows 7 : all the applications,skype for business,outlook are working fine in Direct access.

    In windows 10: Am able to ping the servers,able to take RDP for the servers after connected the pc in DA.but Skype for business & Outlook are not working.

    Plz suggest me the steps to fix the issues.

    Did the issue occur with all the Windows 10 machines or the specific one?
    Were there any error message when this issue start to occur?
    Will it be fixed if you disconnected the DirectAcess?

    If it can be fixed by disconnecting DirectAccess, this issue should be caused by DirectAccess. DirectAccess is a feature that allows connectivity to organization network resources without the need for traditional Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections. Our members in this forum are not familiar with this feature, if it is caused by DirectAccess,  it is suggested to contact our DirectAccess forum for help, they have more resource to help you.
    There is little we can do to help you here. According to my research, this issue could be caused by split-tunneling for DirectAccess connections, please refer to the following link to modify registry settings to have a try

    If it issue persists after disconnecting DirectAccess, please disable Firewall and all security application on Windows 10 machines to have a test.
