Log off causes reboot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Whenever a user logs off it will force Vista (SP2) mem to reboot the whole computer, and when logging back in computer states that Windows was shutdown unexpectedly. I am running Norton AV and have ran several scans from that, and have ran scans from Spybot and do not come up with any issues.

I have tried to upgrade the video driver as remmended by the submit from the notice about the shutdown. This issue started almost a month ago so, but I have not been able to trace it back to any update

Here are the specs of the computer

Windows Vista 32 BIT SP 2
    3 GB mem
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ 2.40 GHZ
    HP A6604F computer
Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti vid card

If you need further info just ask :)
