editing tasks in the reading pane RRS feed

    is it possible to edit tasks in the reading pane rather than having to open the task its self.

    I work allot in tasks at the moment and being able to edit in the reading pane would be much more efficient.

    when I try to edit a message comes up in the toolbar at the bottom saying 'modification not allowed because the selection is locked'

    is there a way of unlocking this

    Hi,

    As far as I know, it's not possible to edit items directly in Outlook reading pane. We can only edit a draft, a reply or a forwarded message directly in reading pane.
