  • Hi Mike,

Can you let us know if your isuse occured during the Installation stage?

If your issue happened during the installation stage, please test if you can copy the files in the game disc to you computer. In addition, you can try to copy file from the disc to another computer to narrow down if the disc or you DVD drive is defective.

If they are both fine, you can try to install the game in Clean Boot mode. This method will help us determine if this issue is caused by a loading program or service. Please perform the following steps:

    1. Click the Start Button and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search Box and press Enter.
    2. Select the Services tab in the open window. Check the “Hide all Microsoft Services” option and click Disable All.
    3. Switch to the Startup tab and click Disable All.
    4. Click OK to save the settings and select Restart when prompted.

After that, please install it in the Compatible mode.

    1. Explore the game disc, then right-click the exe. file and choose Properties.
    2. Under the Compatibility tab, please check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose "Windows Vista".
    3. Check the box before “Run this program as an Administrator” below.
    4. Click OK to save the settings.
    5. Check if we can install it now.

Note: Temporarily disabling the Startup Group only prevents the startup programs from loading at startup. This shouldn't adversely affect the system or other programs. We can still manually run these programs later.

I hope this can help you.

    John
