Hi Team,
I have ADFS Server 2.0 OS 2008 R2
my domain and forest level are 2008R2
I plan to install new ADFS Server 2012R2 to different farm as a new server
My question is, is there any schema update in my forest/domain ? If I install new ADFS farm with newer version ?

AD FS 2012/2012 R2 does not require schema changes or functional level modifications to AD DS as stated in the article below :

AD FS does not require schema changes or functional-level modifications to AD DS when upgrading to ADFS2012/2012R2.

If it is a new installation of ADFS 2016 it will require the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).
If you are raising the ADFS farm behavior level (FBL) to the 2016 level requires the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).Blog:

how if we migrate to 2016 ADFS 4, no need to update schema also ?
