  • Hi Harpal,

Currently for RMS-enabled PDF files you have to use NitroPDF or Foxit (paid pdf readers) to read such PDFs. However Microsoft is working with Adobe to create Adobe Reader Plugin that will support RMS-enabled PDF files.

Microsoft is giving a some kind of workaround - Microsoft's own ".ppdf" file reader - you can create a .ppdf file using RMS Sharing App (this app can be installed both on workstations and on mobile devices).

However, if you have your Azure RMS with your Office 365 subscriptions, than yes - it is very usefull and cost effective.
