Upgraded host server from 2012 R2 to 2016. Hyper-V gues hangs on the black Hyper-V screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have several virtual machines that were running fine on my Windows server 2012 R2 host. The host is now running Windows Server 2016. When I attempt to boot the virtual servers they hang on the black Hyper-V screen and I do not have the circle of dots at the bottom... It just hangs there.

If I move them to a Server 2012 host, they boot fine.

Any idea what I can do to get them to boot up on the 2016 host?
