W7 Start Screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • Tablet PC permanently set to Portrait display.

At (very appealing) W7 start up screen I'm forced to watch it in landscape.

Suspect this is not fixable or have I missed an easy tweak?

  • most display settings dont apply until after your computer has booted. i not axactly sure why but all i know is that it does a similar thing with dual monitor setups; it wont turn on your secondary monitor until after the boot sequence is complete
    hope this helps, nitrous_74

  • Most probably the display settings are applied per-user, so they can only be activated when the user is logged in.

    P.S.: Epic shoop is epic.

PatrickLawless : if you are using W7 on your Tablet congrats :P did you try to get your screen's drivers from your tablets manufacture's website? that may resolve the issue. normally you can change it in the display properties(right click on your desktop and go to screen resolution the option to change to orientation is there as a pull down menu) I hope this helps. oh and the changes would be instant once you click either Apply or Ok.
