  • So you are receiving this error message during the specialize phase? (e.g. after the first reboot before the first logon) Did you recreate your task sequence for Windows Server 2016 from scratch using MDT build 8443?

    Cheers,
    Anton

  • actually it's at the first reboot that I have the error message,
The deployment task was done in 8443, I will try to redo a new task, otherwise you have an idea of the problem?
    thank you

  • Weird. If you are not doing any modifications to your unattend.xml and are using latest MDT iteration, speciaization pass should work. Can you pull your Panther log files from an affected system? As mentioned above, the error message points to a malformatted unattend.xml file without providing any additional information at which point parsing of the answer file goes awry.

    Cheers,
    Anton
