Moving dpm from 2012 server to 2012r2 server RRS feed

  • Hi everybody !

    Im planing to move my dpm enviroment from server 2012 to server 2012r2 with a local Sql Database , i have read here that the Dpm migrtation is possible only if the 2 Servers are having the Same Operating System , someone have an idea?

    are you referring to upgrade DPM or Windows Server?

    If Windows Server 2012, you can do in-place upgrade.

    If refer to DPM, then DPM 2012 -> DPM 2012 SP1 -> DPM 2012 R2

  • i cant find an answer anywhere , all i could found is migrations to the same Operating Systems , Im planing to move from Windows Server 2012 with Dpm 2012 SP1 to Windows Server 2012 r2 With Dpm 2012 r2

    any ideas ???
