How do I allow read-only access to the Knowledge Articles? RRS feed

  • I need to allow some Service Manager Console users read-only access to the Knowledge Articles.  So, I want the Library group to be visible for them but in that group I want them to only view the Knowledge Articles and have read-only access.  Can this be done?

  • never try this but you can try to create new user role and from tasks choose Search for Knowledge Articles

  • You will have to create a User Role of type "Read-only operator" and scope this role to CIs of type "Knowledge Article".
