  • "Performance Logs and Alerts” is not starting in Windows 2003 server.plz help me out.

    As per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315690, change the "Performance Logs and Alerts" service to run under the Local System account.

  • This service is works on demand. so you dont need to worry.

    You can verify if it is working properly by running counter task from performance monitor, you should be able to see service as running.
