Disable sharing of network printers RRS feed

  • Question

  • I used steady state to disable sharing of local printers. However, there are some network printers that show up on my server. If the user navigates to the server, he can then share the network printers, which doesn't even make sense (why does it need to be shared if it's already on the network! haha). Is there a way to disallow this?

    Thanks,

    Dave

  • Hi David,

Why do you try to disable the sharing via Windows Steady State? You just need to cancel the sharing of the installed local printers and network printers.
