    We have a test server setup with a test domain, we need to test the outgoing emails for workflows.

    Can we configure gmai ids in domain user accounts in AD & gmail SMTP in central admin.

    or what is an alternative?

    I'm confused about your question. I'd like to ask the following questions to help us understand your needs:

    1. What is your Exchange version?
    2. What do you mean about using Gmail ids/SMTP in your domain?
