Alps Touchpad Driver for HP Laptop for Windows 10 Home

Question
-
My laptop was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. There were no issues with any hardware in Windows 10. Following hard drive failure, replacing hard drive and re-installing Windows 10 from an ISO (no upgrade from Win7 to Win10) , I no longer am able to use the touch pad/mouse. Checking HP site, the touchpad/mouse is an Alps Touchpad. I am unable to get the OS to detect the device nor was able to get the touchpad /mouse to work following system restore.
Are the drivers available for the Alps Touchpad in windows 10? How to I get the OS to recognize the touchpad?
Thanks

I did not download from Softpedia URL above as I got a warning message from Virus protection about the cab file at the site (by MS Defender). Internet search led me to a HP URL

Downloaded and installed driver from HP URL and after reboot, the touchpad works again.
Thanks

HP site is not very helpful . They directs us to download Windows10 update from Microsoft, which does not address the issue. Checking for Device drivers from Apls, I found the following: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/KEYBOARD-and-MOUSE/ALPS/ Will try it later today
Thanks
