Shared Mailboxes


  • I have a client that has always used a certain workflow in her Mailboxes, that no longer works the way she wants. 

    Hosted Exchange 2013 - not at Microsoft

    Outlook 2013 - 2016 on the Client side with Surface Pro 3 - 4 Hardware.

    4 end users

    Each end users have their own Mailbox 

    There are 3 shared mailboxes that each user has access to

    When the user creates an email in a shared mailbox they want all of those emails to stay within that shared mailbox. Including Drafts, Sent, and Deleted Items.

    This gives the manager the ability to monitor the mail flow.

    What is happening on some of the workstations are that items are being moved to the primary mailboxes and not being retained in the shared hierarchy. 

    I have worked with Registry Keys and Fix It's , and make sure each user has full permissions to said shared mailboxes and it is still hit and miss.

    My question is did something change in Exchange Versions that has created this mail flow issue?
