    Improvements and fixes

    This security update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

    •Addressed issue with Surface Hub devices waking from sleep approximately every four minutes after the first two hours.
    •Addressed issue where autochk.exe can randomly skip drive checks and not fix corruptions, which may lead to data loss.
    •Addressed an issue where Microsoft Edge users in networking environments that do not fully support the TCP Fast Open standard may have problems connecting to some websites. Users can re-enable TCP Fast Open in about:flags.
    •Addressed issues with Arc Touch mouse Bluetooth connectivity.
    •Security updates to Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows SMB Server, Windows COM, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows kernel, Windows Server, and the .NET Framework.

    If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

    Known issues in this update

    Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update.

    How to get this update

    This update will be downloaded and installed automatically from Windows Update. To get the stand-alone package for this update, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website. After this update is installed, the build number will be either 15063.296 (for all Windows 10 devices except Mobile and IoT) or 15063.297 (for Mobile and IoT).

  • Having installed this cumulative Update and then sealed the image with sysprep.. when I deploy this image and then manually search for updates, KB4016871 appears as not being installed (even though it is...)

    After a few seconds, Windows Updates finishes the installation / repair without having to reboot

    Is this normal????

  • After installing this update my headphones (Skullcandy Hesh 2) no longer appeared in my playback devices. I have since tried to un-pair and re-pair the device. In all cases, the device "successfully" pairs but never connects. They still do not appear in my playback devices but show as paired in Bluetooth Settings.
