    Question

  • I have exchange 2003

I have one user that is out of the office a lot at different sites.

How do i set up exchange so he can relay through our exchange to send emails, without having to reconfigure outlook at every different site with thier SMTP outbound mail address

I only want it for this one user not everyone.

  • Hi,

From my point you have two options,

    1) Use OWA from external Location to send mail

    2) Configure the Outlook with POP account and give the user Offline Address Book

Incoming Mail server will be your exchange server Public IP

Outgoing Mail server will be your exchange server Public IP

  • Besides, you can try to enable RPC over Https to allow this user to access mailbox via outlook.
