How can I make a mail-enabled Public Folder send as another mailbox using the Folder Assistant? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using the Folder Assistant to send an automatic response from a Public Folder.  It's working great, except that I need response to go out as a particular mailbox on our system (and NOT the Public Folder).

Is there a way to assign Send On Behalf rights on a mailbox TO a Public Folder?

Is there a way to set the Public Folder auto reply to go OUT as this mailbox?

    Thanks!

You can grant user permission to send on behalf of the public folder, but cannot allow public folder to send on behalf of mailbox.

As far as I know, Exchange don't have the feature as you required.

    Thanks,
